New Places update won't let me call anyone

Upgraded my google maps the other day to the Places update and now every thing I look up, the phone icon is greyed out on and I can't call them without memorizing the number, launching the phone, then trying not to screw it up from memory.

What am I doing wrong? Is there a setting that I missed?

Sorry I don't have an answer for you...

I did the same update then my HTC System Info Widget failed to load and mysteriously disappeared from the widgets menu.

Same here. NOt able to make calls within the app anymore. That sucks...

Hopefully they get it fixed soon ,,after reading your post I tried too and ditto samething greyed out phone icon , ,nothing you did it's something "they did".

select then there will be a option to call...

til they fix it

In Google Maps you can turn on Labs Bubble Button and use that to call with. It has the same issue as places.
