I've read about this update some time ago. I totally forgot about it. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it today.

It just changed back to normal. I opened it twice within 30 minutes. Different both times. The heck is going on?

Strange, mine is in 6.0.0 but looks like the old playstore.

Here is something else that is strange: I have 6.0 on both my 5X and M8. The M8 shows the newer interface, the 5X has the old one.

I am not entirely sold on this new UI. While it does look pretty, I find the way you need to first choose a subcategory and then another CTA to go see the top charts is a bit too much. I prefer how it would just go straight there.
