New Playstore 4.0.25

Earlier today I saw posts where users were downloading the. apk file for the new Playstore 4.0.25
I was surprised when it was actually pushed to my Galaxy Note 2 this afternoon. I also have a Nexus 7, and it still has not received the update yet. Thought for sure it would get it before my Samsung device.
Has anyone else received the update on their Note 2?

Has anyone else received the new store? I had read that it was only available for 4.2.2 and up through push service.

I also received it on my VZW N2 (stock - 4.1.1) this afternoon.

My wife hasn't gotten it on her S3 yet.

No. I downloaded the apk file for my At&t GN2 and I don't have it rooted.

Im rooted with cleanrom. I wasnt sure if would download automatically so I just downloaded the apk. Its simple, just download it and make sure you can install from unknown sources in the settings. Go to your notifications and click the one about download complete. A popup will ask if you want to overwrite the system app and you say yes. Bam it installs. At the bottom click open and you will have the new playstore. Stupid simple.

Got it on my Sprint Note 2 with 4.1.2 just this afternoon.

Wish they would update how the ratings and reviews are displayed, or perhaps allow us to customize it.
When an app is updated I like to scroll through the reviews to see if it's worth updating or staying with the current version if the updated version is having issues. As I scroll through the reviews, they're not arranged by date. It's as though they're randomly picked.

You should have the option to filter by latest version

And then go by newest post

Go to the app page in the Play Store, and scroll down to where you can see the reviews. Click on "All Reviews" .

Then scroll down and those options will be under the "Most helpful first" and "Options" tab.
