Is it really too much to ask for a dual core on Big Red though?

AT&T and T-Mobile have'em, Sprint is getting one soon, Verizon... well...

With the pricing they have on the Thunderbolt and upcoming Droid Charge, VZW is gonna have a hard time keeping customers considering the other carriers have dual-core phones for half the price. We may realize that 4G is a good bit faster, and the connection is even more important than the device, but we're not in the majority. Most people just want cool phones and a reasonable plan.

Still can't figure out why they think they can charge so much for these phones just because they have LTE. All I can think of is they're getting us used to paying that much for a phone, since we'll be paying even more than that from now on when we want to upgrade after unlimited data goes away. :p

You'll very soon have dual-core phones on VzW so long as you don't want/need LTE (e.g., DInc2, Revolution, etc.). And you can have LTE so long as you don't want/need a dual-core processor (TBolt, Charge, etc).

Oh, you want BOTH? Well, then, looks like you'll be waiting until August or September, perhaps longer. Question now is whether the first one out with both will be a Moto or a Samsung...

Dinc2 and Revolution are both single core.

I am thinking about switching to T-mobile and getting the sensation when it is released.

You can't continue to increase the amount of RAM in a computer and expect it to make much of a difference. I think Android is probably just fine with 1GB. More RAM can help with multi-tasking, but it can become overkill too. Also, unless they improve the sensors a lot, 12MP is pretty much just ridiculous. If Google can manage some new killer apps that don't suck too much battery these specs will start to make sense, but Android being what it is, is perfectly fine at 1GB of RAM, and 8MP camera.

I have 4GB in my desktop, and frankly it's no different than 2GB. Also my 5MP digital camera takes far superior pictures than the Droid X's 8MP. I do use my DX more than the digicam though.
