I have a Samsung Galaxy s24 128 gig us model. The phone is less than 2 weeks old and has shown a low storage warning. I have no video or pictures on the phone as of yet. The screenshot that I will post shows that I have used 123 of 128 gigs. When I add up everything I've used looking at the apps it's not even 80 gigs. My last two phones were a moto and a Samsung Galaxy s20 Fe with the same storage capacity. I have the exact same apps that I had on those two phones and never used 100 gigs(system included). Anyone got any ideas

Well, that screen as saying that your apps are taking up 104 GB.

But that's more that just the apps themselves. It's also the data and cache that's tied to each app. Some apps cache a lot of information. Browsers for example can be a big one. On my phone, the Firefox browser app by itself is only about 250 MB, but between the data and especially the cache, it takes up 1.5 GB.

Email apps can also pull and store a lot of data if you sync to an exchange account and don't limit the timeframe. Pretty sure Gmail is similar. There are plenty other apps that do the same thing and can all add up to full storage before you know it.

Social media apps are also storage hogs. I have read Facebook & Instagram are notoriously bad.

You might try go to your phone settings then apps & go through your individual apps storage & see if anything looks out of line. You can always clear the cache of an app that is high. Clearing the cache only won't delete your data.

My Spotify usually takes few gigs for cached songs. And it's not the type of cache that is deleted with generic Clear Cache button. You have to do it within Spotify as it holds it in app data.
