New S7, need help setting up Google Voice with US Cellular

Just switched from to US Cellular from Verizon where I have been using Google Voice for several years. I am having problems getting it transferred over to my new phone even though my number has not changed. When I download the app, and go through the steps, it says my carrier does not allow for automatic configuring and to visit the HELP section on Google Voice. I've tried several different things and still nothing works. When I call my phone it says my voicemail is not set up. Help!

Unfortunately... this 'could' very well be verzion restricting other voice-mail alternatives. Have you tried searching online for similar issues with Verizon as provider?

This never works automatically, instead use the codes for manual forwarding configuration on Verizon. Just Google it
