Have you ever had any further problems with the phones that came in with 0% charge?

On a serious note, battery drain of sorts? What I noticed on a lot of posted pics of the S8(+) in places like Best Buy the phone was plugged in, but many devices where showing like 60% charge or less. This is interesting, surely plugged in would have been 100%?

The demo phones have special software on them to not let them fully charge to 100%. I asked the same question to my Samsung rep

Got in the new S8+ from Verizon and my battery was totally dead at 0% when I took it out of the box.

I've had a million new phones and never had one at 0% right out of the box.

It also seems to be charging pretty slow.

Anyone else have a dead battery right out of the box?

Its actually pretty common on phones with embedded batteries. I see a ton of them. Box gets bumped enough to turn it on is my guess, then it dies in the box.

Mine arrived with 39%. Charged it to 100% with no issues (like getting hot).

Never thought about that. It seems just fine but still has me worried.
