New Samsung Level U Headset, lessons learned from Gear Circle

Okay, after doing some research and listening to the glowing reviews from severl websites i decided to purchase the Level U. I was hoping for an upgrade to the Gear circle. Well for me, im not impressed. My Gear Circle gives me incredible sound, along with using Power Amp and its equalizer settings, i get incredible sound and detail, things I never heard before I hear with my Gear Circle and Poweramp.

So my question is am I doing something wrong. putting them in wrong, a faulty pair? i am really not impressed at all with the Level U. Again thats my opinion. I missed stopping and starting music when the buds connect, the power button is in an akward place. Wll im returing them and getting a pair of the white Gear circles, until Samsung comes out with something comparable or better.
Again, just my opinion.

It might not be you doing something wrong. I totally agree I hear nuances in existing songs with my Circles I'd never heard before on any other headphones I've ever used, and that's been a lot of them over three decades.

For me the Gear Circle would be purfect if you could swipe back for previous track and swift forward for next track. Also a better mic for calls. It picks up all surrounding sounds, but callers complain they cant hear me very well when Im talking, even in quiet settings.

I like everything about the level u except the fact they don't stay connected to both the watch and phone at the same time. If they are connected to my phone and I answer a call with the watch it answers on speaker instead of bluetooth.

Ok I got my level u today and the rep I chatted with was a 100% wrong. I still get all the texts and notifications read to me and it does pair with the gear s. I actually like this Better then the circle. There's pack of ear gels that has this wing thing that helps secure it in the ears better. Getting the Bluetooth paired is a little tricky with the s. Toy must shut Bluetooth off on your phone if your by it, go to gear s settings, Bluetooth, make visible, then tap bt headset then hold on play/pause button on headset you'll see the light blinking then the gear s should see it

Thank you appreciate that.... I was worried about the message reading. I have lg ones that read and like that.

Got my Level U Pro four days ago. Good sound. Good Bass. Nice features, BUT ... the Samsung Level app constantly suddenly quits (Note 4). Sometimes Samsung Level app quits even when the app is not open !!! Several features do not work (Notifications and other ...). Sometimes terrible loud buzzing sound, so I have to pull the buds out quickly !!! I already tried uninstalling the app, then reinstalling. Cleared Cache and Data. Rebooted Note 4, still have the same issue. I'm very disappointed .... I really liked the idea of the Samsung Level app, with all the extra features. Phone quality seems to be good, but I haven't tried using the phone with the Level U Pro while cycling around town yet .... Bluetooth is not stable. I had to stop cycling, and reboot my Note 4 to get the Level U Pro to connect again. Level U Pro loses connection around 15-20 feet, which is terrible, so I have to carry my phone around with me everywhere I go around the house.

I would try to get a replacement pair. The buzzing is usually a sign of a bad pair, add in your other bugs and it sounds like you got a broken one. That won't stop the app from force closing (stopping by itself) but it should help on the hardware side.

I just got the U Flex headphones and they are having major issues. On side of the headset if you try to left the headphones they will connect and turn off! They supposed to be made for flexibility but seem to have a terrible intermittent connection public. You actually have to bend them around a bit to get things back to normal. For it took 24hrs. to stop the buzzing. There is an update you can apply via level you app, but I have not been able to get the download to start. It fails as soon as it start. Wanted see if a firmware up would fix the problem before contacting Samsung. Actually I have the switch off and it's charging. Yet the headset is pulsing, with the switch to set to off. I think I will reach out to Samsung later today to report this. I just got them last week! Not a good look Samsung.
