new sd card not mounting.

So I bought a new 16gb SD card for my 3d EVO. I unmounted my original card. Copied the contents to the new card and now when I boot the phone says I must unmounted a SD card before removal. Also my photos will show up for about a minute before it says to insert a card...

Have I fubar'd the card or what? Any help would be great. I have the latest update and I'm not rooted.
