New SD Card

This is probably a silly question... But I have a brand new unrooted, never been turned on, virgin Razr Maxx and I bought a 32gb micro SD card (to replace the 16 gig one that came with the phone). Can I just put 32gb card in and start up the phone and proceed with setup and the card will be set up correctly?

As long as the phone accepts 32gb microSD cards then you are good to go. There is not setting it up or anything at anytime. Just pop it in there and your phone will automatically write the files needed to it. You can insert and eject the sd card at anytime as long as its not in the process of saving something to the card as that will corrupt the data and possibly corrupt all the data on the card.

Agreed.. worse case scenario---- if it doesn't accept the new SD card, go to settings > storage and unmount the SD card, format SD card, and then remount SD card... that should kick it in its butt and start working . Lol
