Can anyone tell me where this came from? It showed up on homescreen after sending text messages. When i click it it jumps to a modified search page....

It goes to something that looks like the google place when you open the browser except it says livemobilesearch.com in the address bar.

I'm going to research it. I wonder if it's something that installed along with one the new games i got today?????

So after research it seems it's from some company called "airpush" but why was this purshed to my phone.... i even elected to be removed from verizons data collection etc, so my info should not be shared.

I don't even think there is a way to uninstall it...

ok thanks a million. i used it and it found an app "zombie killer", which i installed a week ago. Idk if it is directly related but i'll see if something happens again.


since the search was simply a shortcut does that mean it was not an actually installed app? because i could not find it anywhere in the app draw or installed apps

i have the same problem. i have deleted it repeatedly & it keeps reappearing. i have cleared my cache, history, tried to search for it with uninstall app, to no avail. furthermore, when i open my browser, it hijack my home page. i can't find much info about this. "zombie killer" posted info above is a game & no help. downloaded airpush detector & no apps detected.
