new skype problem

My skype video call, when on speakers has a very low volume. It was not like this until i updated the app. I have my volume bar to full but when on earphones, volume seems fine. Help pls? Already uninstalled then installed again the app but still no good

I have the same problem ( got my HTC One a day ago) and my sister also with her week-old S4. While on a Skype video call, the sound comes through the headset and not the speakerphone like it should.

Ugh I updated yesterday and was told I couldn't be heard well on Skype over the speakerphone.

I have the same issue. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

Contacts hear a very quiet and muffled voice when I am on Skype using my Nexus 10. I have tried blocking one then the other microphone. Also blocked (with fingers) both microphones. All gave the same result. Muffled like the sound was passing through the casing. It appears to be a very common problem. Is there any way of connecting an external microphone.
