There is a new social network for Pokémon Go players called SeeAroundGo.

This awesome app lets players share information, chat, and coordinate actions/meetups in their local area.

I went to the Google Play page and saw it only had 1-5 downloads so decided it was a waste of my time. Now I see it has 10-50 downloads but what are the odds anyone around my area is one of the 10-50? Pretty slim considering where I live. I'll wait and see if this takes off any faster before I bother with it.

better join a facebook group chat within your area, you'll have better chance of having info about the whereabouts of rare pokemons assuming players are kind enough to share if something came up in their place.
