New software update for samsung galaxy s6 causing problems

I did the new software update for my Samsung galaxy s6 and its changed so much which I dont like. My main concern is with the application manager.
I used to be able to see 'running apps' on my phone and close them down manually but it seems in this update, it doesn't exist. I can no longer tell which apps are running. Is there a solution to this?

They most likely moved that somewhere else--check the Settings>Battery menu.

I would suggest also to refrain from manually closing apps, and instead let the system manage your RAM on its own. If you manually close apps, the system will simply open that app or some other app automatically, because Android prefers RAM to be mostly full of open or cached apps (which allows the user to open and switch between apps more quickly).
