The changelog was very non-specific. I can tell you that the microphone option now works in all modes of operation. Besides that I see no major differences.

Let's give it a couple days, maybe battery life will improve. I know every time the Moto 360 gets updated, for instance, the battery life keeps getting better.

It used to last less than a day with light/normal use, now it can go on for 48+ hours with fair/normal use.

That's the OA7 that has been going around for a while. Mostly bug fixes. In US, 3 of the four major carriers have already released the update.

I did the update today, and the watch wouldn't connect to the phone anymore... I had to reinstall the Gear Manager (!) and then reset the watch to factory settings... So if anyone has that problem, now you know what you have to do, no need to break your head over it :)

Interesting. I remember getting a major update 3 weeks ago (TMobile), but this morning is another update. See the attached.

xxxx1AOA7 is firmware that was released at the end of Jan. for T-Mobile. So, I'm not sure what you get updated on, Gear Manager or Gear S firmware because the firmware version you posted is the same version as before.

All I can tell you is that I got the end of January Gear Manager update like you have mentioned, but another one this morning...honestly.

Gear Manager update is a different topic. This is about Gear S firmware update. Don't confuse the two. Yes, Gear Manager updated many times in the past but that hardly is any news (mostly to work better with the phone). The real functionality is in the Gear S firmware.

Did non AT&T versions get the ability to add ringtones and reply to notifications of 3rd party apps via the keyboard and voice like the AT&T ?
