New Swype Installer Problem

I rooted my Evo 2.2, and installed the Vaelpak rom, everything running great. I saw there was a update available for the swype. I uninstalled swype and my installer(yes I was part of the beta), and when I log into swype to download the new installer, it says I am not using the registered device or something to that nature !? What do I do ?

Might be the rom your using.. I am rooted and using baked snack 1.7 and I too am beta with swype.. Uninstalled swype and the installer installed the new with no problems at all. Maybe check with the rom maker to see if there is some kind of conflict?

My phone is rooted without a rom and when I click on the swype beta link it says that my htc is not an android device..

Make sure when you click on the link that you have the browser set to Mobile, if not it will say that its not an android device.

I am also using Baked Snack and had no problems uninstall/installing via the beta site.
