new symbol in top bar on phone not recignized

In the past couple of days, I have noticed a new symbol, it is an angled box with multiple lines top left and bottom right. Can anyone help with it's meaning?

Yep most likely vibrate mode based on description. Press volume up all the way - does it go away?
