New T-Mobile Note 8 YouTube Aspect toggle missing..

Hi all, so I received my phone tonight.... I updated all that was said to be updated... When watching YouTube videos and movie trailers... I am still missing the aspect toggle of full, wide, zoom options you get when tap the right middle of the screen.. I remember seeing a note 8 on display and it did not have it until a Samsung update came into the phone... but I have updated all I could find and I am still missing this YouTube aspect ratio option.. Suggestions please..

Yes I updated everything it would allow....... And you also have T-Mobile? Are you on the latest YouTube update? Can you please compare the rest of numbers as well and let me know. Thank you.

I just don't get it.... This is very frustrating... We have the same everything but yet this feature is not available to me.. Gosh... What else could it be?

I Just found these s8, s8+ post that are related to my issue...

Unfortunately, After trying everything under the sun the issue persists on the built in YouTube app and the aspect ratio icon is still not displaying.

*Solved (well kinda).. I found a workaround.. Just Open up your internet browser. Go to the YouTube website. It will ask which app to open YouTube with. Choose internet exporer. It will then take you to the mobile version of youtube. Add that website to your home screen. The mobile version of YouTube provides full screen zoom, wide stretch and fit to screen. Then remove the built in YouTube icon off of your home screen if you added it there. Enjoy full screen viewing... No black bars!

Update..... I exchanged my Sept build date for an August build date (same as the display model)... I then updated the phone and then the YouTube app (the YouTube aspect toggle never went away)... My N8 works as it should now.. Perhaps a Defective phone or corrupted software??
