New T-Mobile Plan!!!

This isn't so much about the G2X as it is T-Mobile in general but, the carrier will be dropping their Unlimited Everything Plan from $99.99/mo. to $79.99/mo the same week the G2X drops. When I get photo evidence I'll post it, but this is a complete certainty. The date will be 4/13/11.

I heard the changes are only for individual plans, not family. I'll be getting a brand new contract w/ my G2X on Friday, so we'll see! (My first smart phone.)

Yeah as of right now it's just individual Even More and Even More Plus plans.

One problem here is that the new plan will have a 2GB cap, after which you will be throttled for the remainder of the billing cycle.

But still no overages. If you've already got unlimited you still get to keep it but if you aren't using more than 2 GB then it saves you $20 each month.

Only 2 gigs a month? Hope you don't stream a lot of hq youtube or download roms on your phone or you'll burn through that pretty fast.

I was told by a T-Mobile rep today that this new plan isn't happening next week. I'm more concerned about their data throttling above 5 Gig!

Glad you are fortunate enough to have your own network at home. For those of us not that lucky some places have wifi but it's limited is all I'm saying.

The plan sounds competitive to me in comparison to the other providers who charge you for everything and then some.
