If you think the previous updates were bad. The screeching was so bad, I think the mother ship mistook it for a homing beacon and it was hovering over my house for a while. I give up. Just gonna wait for Gingerbread and Skype.

I second that I had to get rid of it if I kept using it I might have chucked my phone out the window

Hey guys,

For some reason there has been a regression in audio quality on the HTC Thunderbolt. The audio quality on this device has been very tricky for us due to the placement of the speaker next to the kickstand.

For optimal performance, please try lowering the volume 1-3 'clicks' or plug in a wired headset when making a Tango call.

Just wanted to let you guys know that we are working on it!

Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Randall,
Lowering the volume doesn't do anything other than making the other party inaudible. I noticed for the past few weeks there have been multiple updates to Tango. But unfortunately each update made the app worse and it's now to a point where it is totally unusable (at least for me, can't speak for everyone else of course).

Hope you guys find a solution soon.

I also must say each update has made it worse but I trust u guys will come up with a solution.

Tango is frustrating to try to use - especially when FaceTime works flawlessly on my iMac to my friends iPhones. Tango to iPhones is iffy at best, hard to connect and hard to hear.

It sounds like Tango TB to TB isn't any better. I'm not sure if it's Tango or TB that is the problem?.or both.

Video talking is one of the main reasons I got this phone, I love using it on my iMac and I am disappointed with (not being able to use) video talking on this phone.

I must say however, that the HotSpot feature was another main reason for getting this phone. I thought it would be nice to use that feature, but I have never used it, So having it "go away" was not a big deal to me. I did try using it it once with my iPad, but couldn't get it to connect....but sense I have never taken my iPad anywhere where there wasn't already WiFi, I didn't really care.

This phone continues to disappoint and please. I've had the TB from day one and I am still (along with most everyone else) waiting for it to work to it's full potential.

Let's hope so. But if SKYPE comes to the TB before they do, it will be bye-bye Tango.........assuming SKYPE works on the Thunderbolt, which at this juncture, is a BIG assumption.
