New Themes (including a dark theme)

See ... THIS is the problem with most ALL of the themes ... even the better ones:

These "designers" can't seem to keep themselves from using these unnecessary backgrounds on menu screens that should never, ever, EVER have ANY type of background other than a plain jane color or a gradient fade from top to bottom of a harmonious color. Background pictures just clutter everything up.

So close, yet so far. The railroad one looks great, but I don't like the cityscape background on the dialer, calendar, etc. If they just made that a plain white or gray background, it would be perfect.

That's my issue with a lot of the themes. They seem to have some image or pattern in the background of the contacts app, settings app, dialer etc.

Guess we just have to wait for more themes.

Yeah, my biggest issue with them. The BMW theme I thought looked decent, then when I installed it I saw it had some car image in the background of the settings and contact apps....killed it for me.

Same thing I thought.
I installed it and immediately went back default after seeing the background for the settings.

Yeah that's great, but unless there is a one click method for root like towel root for the Nvidia shield tablet, then it's a no go for me.

Now this is the theme I want. Too bad it requires root and some other non sense. While I usually root my phones. This is the first one I planned to leave alone. Can't whoever made this theme Co tact Samsung to put it in the theme store?

I think there is a one-click root (called ping pong root). You just install an apk, open it and click a button.

As often as "stock" or "plain/business" themes have been requested...you have to wonder if one or two has been made and submitted...and been rejected by Samsung for whatever reason.
