The title represents my current status. Impressed by the speed of LTE but not it's impact on battery life. Want to optimize / maximize what I can before I consider rooting. Looking for help and willing to offer whatever share whatever I can as I learn.

Hi David,

Hopefully you've seen some of the tips and tricks in the TB forum stickies. I personally have disabled everything I don't use. For example, I turned off auto updates for news and weather and have it update only when I open the app. There are a ton more things you can do to help. In the end you still have a Ferrari with a 3-gallon gas tank. Unfortunately battery technology has not kept up with the times.
