new thunderbolt...gingerbread?

Just got a refurbished thuderbolt and I am trying to get gingerbread and it says there are no updates available, any ideas as to why?

If you are at 2.11.605.5 you are at the latest update

OP,

I think you will find your solution in this thread.

I had the same problem and my only option was using the Release from Android Police. It was very simple. Trust me, if I can do it, you can do it.
