I'm new to Android and I think I found the perfect phone to make the jump. The Evo 3D. I shared a BB Storm and then Storm 2 with my wife, and I must say i really enjoyed that phone, but I use the 3D even more, just because it has more apps.
My most favourite feature by far is swype. I didn't think I could get along with a touch screen phone without SurePress, but Swype has enabled me to not look back. I went into a Verizo store and played with some of their Android phones, and I it really made me appreciate how fast my Evo is. Those phones with the exception of a few, were pretty clunky.
I'd love to try some of the customization I've seen other talk about on here, but I'm kinda scared about bricking the phone. I used to wipe my BB every couple of months to install hybrids, but the Android seem to be a different beast.
Still tying to get a handle on ow to get my email to show up in a timely fashion. Now they come in bunches and usually only if I do a manual sync. Anyone have any tips on getting it to work more seamless?
