New to Android

Just got a Techno H6, my first Android device ever. Any links to Dos and don't Dos for a newbie? Been using old Nokia Asha, after I lost a BB. Battery life sucks, barely goes for 6 hours a charge. How can I improve it's battery life. OS is 4.4.2, is there a way to upgrade it? Thanks for help.

Tecno taped on it an Ultra ������ saving mode, it reduces the phone to contacts, phone calls, texts and a clock. But that's not a solution to the problem. I've got about 80 apps installed and haven't even installed all the apps I want. ������

2350 mah battery should be lasting you at least 12 hours of normal use, if not more. Try charging y po to 100%, use the phone normally until is under 15% then go into your battery settings and take screenshots of the results. We might be able to diagnose a software problem.
