I took the android plunge about a month ago after researching phones and decided I would go with Samsung Epic. I have owned Samsung phones for the last decade and have always had really good luck with them but this is the very first smart phone I have ever owned and now I am totally addicted. I had been patiently waiting for the last month for android 2.2 from sprint and finally received the update from them last night but hated the waiting period and would rather learn how to do things myself....I am not a very patient person. I also was forced into taking an update for my voicemail (voicemail-to-text) through Sprint and now I can't get the voicemail notification off the main screen status bar each time a voicemail comes in with out either clearing or deleting it.....before I had a setting in voicemails to be able to turn the notifications off and not having to check my voicemail or clearing it now after the "mandatory update" i don't..... so i am eager to learn how to turn that notification off permanently....lol
Its great to be here and I hope i can learn lots of things and get my Epic to be truly EPIC....
