I am new here, I'm receiving my S3 next week. Migrating from blackberry 9700. Where should I start and then what quick tips should I learn.
I'm pretty excited.

Otherwise, how I learned was just playing with the device. Now, you are going to have a learning curve, that is to be expected. Just remember, hit the back button to close an app. Home only puts it in the background.
I have had my S3 for almost a year, and every now and then I learn something about it.

Welcome and congrats on your new (soon to be) S3. You will really enjoy it, especially coming from the BB 9700 (I too was a BB user for many years).

I changed because of lack of growth, slow browser, tiny screen, lots of sign ins, freezing, little device space, apps, long long reboot time and generally got tired of it. There are more reasons mind you but those are from just reading your question without thinking and oh...creativity!

You'll love it...I was a BB owner/user for 7 years. I've had the S3 for 8-9 months now and love it. I really liked BB but switched for mainly the same reasons you did. I never say never but BB needs to really step it up to get me back. Have fun with this device, I'm sure you will.
