New to incredible have a few quick questions

I'm new to all the droid stuff, Def love it so far i just got it a few days ago. I've been trying to do some research and have a few questions.

1. Im coming from a Blackberry storm and was wondering if there's a "close" button for the internet, or does it just do it automatically when i go to the home screen?

2. What exactly is Froyo?

I'm sorry if these have been brought up before, if so just point me in the direction of where i can read it on here. Thanks for any insight guys

Just the one that came stock with the Dinc, i havent really done much too it ive only had the phone two days lol

Yes, Froyo is the nickname for the Android OS version 2.2.

I, too, came to the Incredible from the Storm. Unlike the BB OS, with Android you just exit the app by going to Home. There are a few apps that will give you an Exit from the menu button.

Basically the apps, such as the browser don't technically exit. Android 2.2 to my knowledge allows up to 8 programs to run in the back ground that you have opened through out the day.

So basically you could go from the music app, play a song, open up gmail, start a email then half through search some up on the internet via the browser.

Quite handy in my opinion.

If you want to close Internet or any open program go to menu >setting>application running >internet tap and force close it . But it doesnt harm being open , close apks in Android 2.2 =froyo does. More harm than good. Leave the system management do it

Thanks guys i appreciate the help, at first i wasnt aware of how overwhelming most of the phone would actually be to me, but im starting to get everything down! i do really enjoy having the features the phone has along with sense. coming from my bb now, i couldnt see myself without this phone and its only been 3 days, im still finding cool features

What is the best way to switch back and forth between apps without closing any of them?
