Hello to all, I have been working with computers and programming for nearly 15-20 years. However I am new to the whole smartphone world and want to learn as much of about them as I know about regular computers.
Because I am new to the smartphone world and these forums it is very difficult to find the basic information due to the fact that so many more advanced conversations appear first.
What might be a good place for me to start from the very beginning.
Should I not get any replies after a couple of days from my post date. I will know I AM NOT in the right place for help.
Thanks

You're in the right place for help. Just wrong forum to post it ;)

Yeah, it's sometimes difficult to find answers through a search, but hey, over 350,000 users, and that creates a lot of searching.

And... Advanced users do not come first, they are posted by date submitted and replied to.

So you're an old machine code person like me? Holed a few cards in your day. I sorta miss them.

Anywho, if you can't find an answer to an issue in your specific phone's forum, then post it in the General How To. Remember, General How To, means just that. Of course, if it's phone specific, it should be posted there first. For ex; if you ask when the Nexus connects to ADB and it's not recognized, well, that's phone specific.

If you say you're getting FC's while running multiple launchers, well, that's General How To.

Something like that anyhow....

Anyhow, welcome to AC!!!:D
