New To S4

I'M new to S4 but not new to Android but so much gas changed since I been a customer and I don't know what I'm doing anymore. I got my Nova Launcher and now I want to customize my lock screen but I don't know how. Sometimes when I exit a browser my Nova Launcher settings are gone also

Browsers have nothing to do with your Nova launcher set up, simply set nova as your default launcher.

If you wanna customize the lockscreen, I recommend going into settings > lockscreen > allow multiple widgets
Also in the lockscreen settings add some shortcuts to your most used apps.

Lastly, to give your lockscreen a nice, clean look, I recommend dashclock widget. It's a lockscreen widget that is customizable with mulitple add-ons/extensions.

Thanks for the tip. I have set it as my default but sometimes when I'm backing out of an application the customization that I have done with Nova Launcher is gone and I have to click on Nova settings to get them back
