new to the Andriod evo

Hello I have an Evo 4g and I have been watching you guys putting up some cool stuff but I guess its not on the marketplace.

I have screenshots where you can have the home screen horizontal and have the bottom tab replaced with icons, if there something you guys can show me and teach me please, I want to get the most of my phone and really show off to my bro in law who think the iphone is the greatest phone in the world!

I'd be glad to help you out, but I'm not sure what you mean with the bottom tab being replaced. If you explain what you mean a bit more, I'd be glad to help.

EDIT: If you mean that you want to have your homescreen rotate to landscape mode, you'd have to download an alternate launcher from the App Market. HTC Sense doesn't rotate, which is why you need a different launcher to do that like LauncherPro or ADW Launcher. Both are free, but both have a paid version.

ok on this page he have a cool wallaper but I see like the text on the top right, im guessing its the life span on his battery and those icons on the bottom, how did he do that?

He is used a different launcher. HTC Sense is the default launcher that comes on the EVO and covers the stock Android operating system. It's pretty much a skin by HTC.

The guy got the icons on the bottom by using an alternate launcher. I'm not sure which one it is, but my favorite is LauncherPro. There's a whole mess of options to help you customise it and looks better than HTC Sense in my opinion. You can even change the icons and hide them from the app drawer.

I have found the app your telling me, it is the LauncherPro app, it did both what I was asking for, you da man!
