Hello. I got an S23 Ultra recently. It's pretty decent. Honestly, the thing I dislike the most is the camera inconsistencies. Taking shots at 200mp or 50mp looks decent, however, taking pictures at the 12mp looks awful and everything comes out over sharpened and grainy looking. The selfie cam is also hot garbage IMO. No matter how I adjust it, it just doesn't seem to look good.

I feel like the pictures on my previous S21 Ultra, and even my Note 20 Ultra, look better honestly. Evidently, I'm not the only one who feels this way. I've seen others complain about the same problem.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? I was told to download this or do this. It's kind of annoying to have to do this just to take decent shots, when some of my other devices like I said, the S21 Ultra or Note 20 Ultra, you could take right out of the box essentially.

I have not noticed any of those inconsistencies or issues—that you're referring to—on my wife's S23U. Except for selfies, of which I haven't noticed at all, or heard her speak about. And she does a lot of wildlife photography at max zooms.

Although neither of us are skilled photographers by any means, so probably don't have anywhere near the decerning or perhaps professional eye for photography, as you may have.

There are no issues with my wife's S23U either. We love taking photos with it. I myself am a semi-pro (Sony alpha) photographer, and I don't see the issues you mentioned.
