Searched for Software Update in settings. Clicked it and it started downloading. Then I got the screen to update or postpone it. I will be interested in what the changes are.

Shows right in the original post screen shot. You got Android Security update. Most likely Dec 1, 2015 now in your "About Phone" for the patch level

Yes but I was referring to the other things listed after "a software update can include, but is not limited to".....

Not rooted, got the update as described above. I just wish they'd detail what's included in those 'updates and features'... And my battery is now about 10% less than it was.

Only a security update. Nothing else. But my phone does seem snappier! Hahaha I'm totally kidding!

Actually, I use iPhone all the time. I have never used Android. My husband used Android and have updated to 6.01, everything looks perfect.

Not rooted, got the update as described above. I just wish they'd detail what's included in those 'updates and features'... And my battery is now about 10% less than it was.

My battery went down after the update, too. I then powered off my phone, waited and restated. I don't think it matters, but after a few updates of that helping, I decided it couldn't hurt.
