New update issue

So I just installed the newest update as of 12/14/15 not sure when it was released. But anyway. Since then. My s5 has been giving me none stop message tones when nothing is there at all. No new notifications. No new anything. I turned the sound off completey and it will still vibrate.
This literally happens almost every 5 - 10min and is very annoying.
Anyone else experiencing this or have any idea what's going on?

Save your data and do a factory reset, hopefully that helps with that.

Have you tried just wiping the partition cache first?

Here are the steps to wipe the cache partition. It won't hurt the device - might not help if there is something rogue going on, but it's the next step that I would do before a full factory reset. Good luck.
