guess my galaxy gear is too old :-( I am starting to get confused when they talk about samsung watches. they have so many now.

IF I were to get a new Samsung watch (I have a Fossil Active 3) then I would get the Galaxy Active 2. Sticking with my Fossil for now.

I got to where I wouldn't use Bixby on my watch because of how bad the voice sounded, it was horrible. Gonna use it more now since it has the new voice! Kind of need a voice assistant on a watch.

For those who know the trick to force the update by changing the region code of your watch, apparently you can't change back the region code after the update.

FyI, The update R800XXU1DSL1 became available this morning in The Netherlands for the GW46mm Bluetooth, region code PHN.

Looks like a useless update to me. A good bixby update for me would be to eliminate it. Color matching your suit, really... That sounds like a gimmick that's useless... Maybe Samsung should get serious about updating good lock instead of this goofy crap. Looks to me the active one is the main beneficiary of this update getting the touch turn watch face.

Color matching your outfit? Is that a thing with the update? I've been doing that since the watch came out using various watch faces. Never leave the house with a watch face that doesn't match my clothes

It's not the biggest of updates, but it is always good to receive some new features to freshen up the device. We have had the 46mm and 42mm Galaxy Watches for two years now and they are still relevant.

From our side it's probably the auto 'swim' detection feature that got the most points. We often tend to forget to start the workout app and up till now it didn't detect swimming automatically.
