Hi All - potential switcher here. I'm tired of my iPhone 4S and the 5 is not my cup of tea. Looking at the HTC One a little closer when it's released. Until then I'm enjoying reading about Android and it's devices on here.

Welcome to Android, and the forums. The One seems like a wonderful device. I would suggest checking out the Note 2. And above all, try all the devices while you are making up your mind. Android only has dozens upon dozens of choices, you are bound to find something you like....lol

I like the Note 2, but as my primary phone it's a tad too big. I'm heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem, but their screen is just weird. Making it longer but not wider. Strange philosophy. My wife already laments my thought of leaving for an Android.

I actually did consider the Nexus 4, but I would really like to step into the LTE arena. Now, if HTC would be the one making the Nexus 5, that would be a complete game changer, since I also like the idea of having an undisturbed Android experience.

Welcome to android-central community! I hope you will be able to enjoy your stay here and get some knowledge from other members!

The potential switcher today became a switcher. The HTC One is in the mail and I am looking forward to be a member of this group and andan Android user in general.

Switcher back again and then some. After a few days with my HTC One, I even gave my trusty old iPad the boot and exchanged it for the Nexus 10 and I have to say that I'm not regretting that move either. I'm actually playing with the idea of exchanging the One against a Nexus 5 if it should be released sometime since I really like the stock Android and not being at the mercy of the phone company for any future updates. One thing is for sure-I'm staying. I will probably never get to persuade my wife to switch, there is just to much tech involved and she likes her things to work without me having to troubleshoot all the time for her.
