new V20 xfer from Note 4 best way?

I have a Note 4 and I'm tired of Samsung trying to fix it. The last 2 times they sent it back with a loose display. Lifts about 1/4 inch, can you believe that?

I look forward to getting a 2 year bump in technology.

I have Samsung Smart Switch to transfer everything to another phone but I don't think that will work with an LG v20. There was a time when I had a Note 2 and wanted to transfer that information to an LG V10 and it wouldn't do it because it wasn't a Samsung. What's the best way to do this. I use AT&T.

I used Helium to back up and transfer my app data from a Moto device to my current LG V20.

Weird, I've had two Note 4 and no issues with either one. This does not discredit your experience however, just shows that quality can vary from unit to unit. Sometimes you just get a lemon.

or maybe I haven't used mine long enough for them to break.

Anyway, moving to V20 is a step in the right direction, certainly. It's better in every way.

There is a number of apps that can do you what you are asking, I moved items from Note 4 to Samsung Galaxy S8+. I suppose that's the same brand but the version were widely different. I moved the apps and their data.
