Anybody else get the new edge panel update that allows you to insert and arrange any widget on an edge panel. This makes using the edge panels much more useful in my opinion.

I thought that was just something you bought off the Galaxy Store. I saw that a few weeks back for sale among the other Edge panels available for download.

Interesting. I got it today as an automatic free update to my edge panels.

Now that I look at it closer, it seems that not all widgets are eligible. They probably have size limitations.

Checked at the updates in Galaxy App Store. Yep the author isn't listed as Samsung but someone named Sally. No idea why they pushed it automatically.

Okay, I must have installed this before. I thought it was from Samsung. D'oh! Please ignore!

Yeah, it is from the Galaxy app store, but to answer your question, yes, I use it. It is probably my least-used panel, since I don't really have widgets that I would prefer to have in the panel instead of on a home page. So, on the panel, I just have a dumb date/time widget that I made in Zooper (just trying it out and I will eventually change it), a slideshow, the icon for the thing where Google tells you what song you're hearing (basically only because I didn't want to leave the space blank), the voicemail icon, and the Google Voice widget. (I recently changed this and used to have it the slideshow, wake-up alarm, voicemail icon, Google Drive icon, and Beep'nGo widget.)

I tried it out before and had it disabled as it just didn't look right. A lot of the third party ones don't.
The update just reminded me to uninstall it completely.
