I previously had a BB and listening to streaming content on the browser was convenient because I was able to do things and work on the phone while it streamed and played in the background.

Ive tried streaming stuff in the browser on the Pro, both via flash-based web player and streaming an audio file. They all worked fine, but the would stop playing if I did anything else like check a txt or write an email etc...

Question: is there any way to have this streaming in the background? Much like a radio app would do?

Im coming from a tour as well. On the tour were you just using it as background music? I think a music widget would play in the background including pandora and I think embedded youtube did for me as well

OTT: As another Pro user, do you have a Chase account? If you do can you download the new Chase app and confirm that the quick deposit feature has been disable? I believe it isn't enabled on the Pro for some reason.

So, nothing? The only way to have audio streaming in the background is to have a separate dedicated app? Im suprised.

Chalk that up to just about the only thing blackberry can do that android can't (and bbm of course!)
