Newbie Email Attachment Question

Hello. First post. Got my Droid Friday. Coming from BB Storm 9530 and never going back. Wow, what a phone!! I guess I shouldn't call it that!! LOL.

Quick question (and yes I searched the forum first and didn't see it). Neither the native email client nor K9 seems to allow me to attach whatever kind of file I want. The native links to photo attachments only and the K9 had a few other options but not the folder in which I have some PDF's and DOC's for work. Unless I am missing something. Any suggestions?

You need to get a file manager like astro from the market then use that to navigate your sdcard to the doc you want to send and do a long press then choose send and your email will come up with the doc attached.
