newbie issues

So i have been looking over the site for about a week now but i've seemed to come to a snag and am wanting to go back to stock. I have attempted to download the files in the sticky but they don't seem to open for me what so ever. could someone please post the exact instructions to get this phone back to stock and give me the correct files,i would greatly appreciate it.

The reason im doing so is because my phone keeps force closing my applications, and it wont really slow me to do much . It sorts looks like the droid X layout which wasn't what i initially thought i uploaded, i though i uploaded superclean , how would i find out exactly what i had uploaded also?

I attempted to download the needed files but wasn't able too,truthfully i would like to fix it and do it properly. ,

So is there a thread to erase and reinstall a rom or would that be same thing as a clean stock reset? Or maybe a way to change the current ( rom,modem,kernal)
