Newbie to smart phone world

Hi guys,

Just got my Samsung Captivate phone and a total newbie to this world. Came on this site and must say, wow, really helpful info on here, thank you! Thanks for all your advice and help on here and look forward to the world of droid.

Please do forgive my questions ahead of time for being a newbie if I ask something that most of you will laugh and snort some water up your nose or something for but I'll first look around and see if I can find the answer before making you all laugh...

Welcome to the forum and enjoy the new phone. I just the Evo myself a week ago and there OS a ton of great information by searching. If you can't find something, there are plenty people that are happy to help. Was the same way on some of the sister sites to this one.
