Newly rooted GS3...now what?

Ok guys, I am new to this rooting stuff! I just rooted my Sprint Galaxy S3 (SPH-L710) with the help of this thread: [SPH-L710] CF-Auto-Root | Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III | XDA Forums

So...now what do I do, LOL? I'd like to upgrade Android from 4.4.2 to something newer but not sure where to go next. What about Cyanogen?

A little background...My GS3 is actually my old phone since I upgraded to an LG G4, so I am just messing around, learning and practicing on the GS3. I thought it would make a nice test pad for previewing apps, testing new Android versions, what ever!

Just need a little guidance with what to do next!

U should flsh aokp rather than cyanogen as it is more stable to me as I have had both remember to get clockwork mod to install

Cyanogenmod cm 12.1lollipop 5.1.1 and cm13.0 marshmallow 6.0.1 is smooth
