I would say HTC or Samsung just because they do not have a locked bootloader like Moto does.

If Moto releases a Nexus device (supposedly the Targa), I don't think it'll have a completely locked bootloader. The Nexus devices are Google Experience devices aimed toward developer crowds. I'd bet that the bootloader will be unlockable, just as it is with the Xoom.

i just want the htc pyramid form factor
with

• dual core
• hspa+ for tmobile
• front facing camera
• hi res screen
• microsd slot (i say this because nexus s disappointed me by not havin one)
• 4inch screen at least
• stock android

basically a nexus one with no trackball and use that extra space for more screen

I hope it is not. It is too soon for another Nexus device. Most of us barely got our Nexus S'. Also this image gives us a different look at he HTC pyramid, it says HTC and "With Sense."

the real problem is all these manufacturers putting their own crap on the phones

there have been plenty of phones id want to upgrade to from my nexus one but i stay away from it because i want stock android

and the nexus s disappointed me so i didnt upgrade phones last december

im itching for a "good experience phone" to come out asap

so...maybe its not going to be vanilla android


IMO if it's not a nexus i wont buy it
it still means future updates will lag

for ex. the g2 is as close to stock android as it gets yet theres no official 2.3 out for it yet still

guess the article i found was a bust... minus a clearer shot of the phone... sorry for all the commotion guys. I just want a 4.3 in screen, dual core, 1 gig ram phone on verizon..

The one posted HERE and HERE does. They are both pictures of the HTC Pyramid. Maybe the other one was a guess of how it would look.

The targa is supposed to be coming to verizon and last i heard was supposed to be out around the holidays so it makes sense for another nexus around that time but who knows I hope verizon gets a nexus phone since we were supposed to get the n1 and then never did.

I don't think the new nexus is near but I do hope they use htc again.
the success of the first nexus should be an indication of what we want.

My Samsung rep, dropped a hint of the Nexus s II being announced in a few months. And he is very reliable ( and been with Samsung for 20 years)

I was so hoping it would be the pyramid. It really just looks like a sexy nexi. But then there was talk of them putting Sense on it (which is fine if you like sense, I like vanilla).
