I would never switch carriers for a phone. I mean atleast around where I am verizon is the best carrier with the best coverage and I just would rather stick with a carrier who has good coverage rather than a lesser network just for a nexus phone. Because after all a phone is only as good as the network that it's on.

Normally I would agree with you, but in my opinion the Nexus phones with they're pure vanilla Android and fast updates are worth switching for.

If Google and Sprint merge as multiple rumors have suggested, I would expect Sprint to get the phone first and I will have it on launch day Q4 starts in Oct, so we may be seeing something in the fall, not the winter.
