Thinking about ordering one but wow, they want $25.00 for shipping, seems extreme, no? So they keep the list price just under 400 bucks but then add on a hidden fee in shipping. They could ship for $5.25 USPS Priority Flat Rate and OK, so they need to cover the cost of the person packing it, maybe another 5 bucks. $25.00 just seems kind of outrageous to me, it's 6.25% of the cost of the phone.

Where is it coming from? A lot of phones are manufactured in China, so you're paying the cost of getting it from there, even if it's coming over in bulk quantities. It still costs them something and they evidently want you to pay for it.

That's the cost direct from Nextbit, Nextbit is charging $25.00 for shipping. Motorola ships their phones for free...

Just as with any other product that has "free shipping," the shipping price is hidden in the retail price.

You guys have to remember how small this company is. They have one office in San Francisco. This isn't a worldwide brand yet.
