Nexus 4 better be a good PHONE

My CDMA Galaxy Nexus on VZW was great at everything except being a phone. Call quality was awful, my signal constantly dropped, it was the only phone I ever owned where I encountered dead zones on my drive to work. Every single day, in the same exact spots, I would lose signal. I switched to a GSM Galaxy Nexus a few weeks ago, w/ T-Mobile, and the worst that has happened is my HSPA+ dropping to HSPA.

I agree that Samsung's radios have been quite poor, and unfortunately I don't know what LG's radios are like as I've never owned an LG phone.

I couldn't imagine it being much worse than Samsung's though. Or at least, I certainly hope not.

My Bionic has never dropped a call. I mean never! If the n4 gets good reviews and is on vzw I might upgrade for JB and the quadcore ... that and it's a nexus so when klp comes out I'll have that too. Lol :-) I hope the radios don't have problems though. With ICS on my bionic now I'm a happier camper then I was 5 days ago.... but a moto nexus... that could be awesome!!

My LTE gnex has never had radio issues and I travel all over the place for business. Seems there was some serious QC issues at Samsung, which is a bummer for people who never got to enjoy a proper gnex. My bulldog got a hold of my gf's phone last night and we fired up her old orange LG Envy. Still works great. I may pass on this LG Nexus, only because my gnex is still a beast, but I think it's going to be amazing...albeit not for those who need TONS of storage. The hardware is sick and with pure Android = sex. At the very least I'm excited to run whatever new Android software come along with it and/or the Nexus 10 on my gnex.
