Nexus 4 - Cant Boot or push ROMS to sdcard

Hi guys,
In trying to flash slimrom 4.3 onto my N4 to hand it over to my GF (as my N5 arrived), i've managed to get into a bad way!
Essentially I can boot into TWRP, but I cannot push any ROM's over adb.
Whenever i try and push it, it says the sdcard is read only, and i'm having great trouble googling my way out of it!
Anyone have any experience of this or idea how to get out of it?
Its been flashed many a time over the last year or so and never has it done this!

Is your TWRP updated to the latest version?

That would be the first area I would check. I believe Goo Manager from the Play Store can aid you in checking to make sure its the most current.

If you have a nandroid, restore it, and manually move the file from the PC to the device. And btw I find CWM is better for N4
