Can a Nexus 4(on Verizon) be used internationally as stock, or does it have to be rooted? Thinking of switching from AT&T(SGSIII), to a Nexus 4(Verizon), and i travel to Europe two or three times a year. Thanks for any feedback.:p

N4 doesn't work on VZ. VZ is CDMA and N4 is a GSM device. N4 works on TMo and ATT. But N4 will work internationally since most of the world (and all Europe) is GSM.

I'm not on Verizon now, but they offered me a great "bundle" deal, so i thought i'd ask. Thanks.:)

No, it was any Verizon phone. I just said the Nexus 4, because that's the next phone that i want to get. I've got Verizon for my "land line", and for my internet.:)

P.S. They're going to hook-up Fios for my T.V., too.

OK... It's not that clear from the OP and people were just going with what you asked...

So if Nexus 4 is the phone you want, then Vzw is out.

If Verizon must be the carrier, and you need a world phone that makes the search simpler.

These work:
LG Lucid2 VS870 - Full phone specifications
LG Spectrum II 4G VS930 - Full phone specifications
Samsung Galaxy S4 CDMA - Full phone specifications available 05-30-2013
Samsung Galaxy Note II CDMA - Full phone specifications
and are all shown as available on Verizon's website.

I hope that helps get you started on your own research. :p
