Nexus 4 & Solavei - No Mobile Data

Hi-

I've been having a lot of issues getting my number ported over and my phone service activated with Solavei, it looks like my phone was fully activated last week (received the text message indicating it was activated) but I still cannot use any mobile data on my phone. My APN settings are correct, they match up exactly with the recommended Nexus 4 APN settings on Solavei support. I've also tried the default T-Mobile APN settings, the Tweakker settings for Solavei (similar, but the APN type is "default,*" rather than "default"), etc. I've rebooted countless times and even wiped my phone to completely start with a stock Android 4.2, to no avail. Upon startup, in my phone status I see that Mobile Network State is "Connecting" but then switches to "Disconnected" and never changes. I've called support and they've said that my phone needs provisioning, and always attempt it, but it never resolves my issues and gives me data. I've also tried my microSIM in my unlocked iPhone 4 that my GF uses currently on T-Mobile and it does not get data with Solavei either (with correct Solavei APN settings applied).

I haven't had data on my phone in weeks now, this is really unacceptable because I require a mobile data connection for work, navigation, etc.

Are any other Nexus 4 owners having a difficult time with mobile data after they have activated their Solavei service, applied the correct APN settings, and tried working with customer support?

Hopefully this won't turn into a "fix yer APN settings with this random Android app, it totally worked on my LG y0" thread... I'm looking for solutions to a service issue, not a device issue.

The reason I am posting in this forum is that Nexus 4 owners have had to use fake IMEIs to sign up with Solavei and I think that may be related to the problem, I'm interested in seeing if this is a widespread issue among Nexus 4 owners that are Solavei users.

I'm on Solavei and fortunately have not had any data issues. I am also using the Nexus 4 settings. Have you tried the generic "Android" device APN settings instead of the specific Nexus 4 ones?
 
I'm also on Solavei and having no problems. I also used the fake IMEI the OP mentioned to get the micro SIM.

If you do a google search on "how set up google voice nexus 4 solavei" pick the androidandme result. I followed those instructions.

The only hiccup I had was I didn't know what to do with the default APN that was on the SIM. Even after I added the Solavei APNs and set the default as default, it was still pulling some data from it. If that is still on your phone I would delete any fields that overlap with the fields you are entering for the Solavei APN including type. I couldn't get MMS to work until I deleted that from the original APN even though I had entered the Solavei MMS setting. (I'm a newbie, so I don't know if I can delete it entirely - it contains a type not in my other APNs.)

This may be a dumb question. Are you sure you're in an area that gets a T-Mobile data signal?
